When I was sadly widowed in 2017 I didn’t know what travel and holidays might look for my daughter and I. But what I found is that you’re still able to travel and have all the same adventures you can with two parents. I want to show all parents that taking children on road trips and holidays full of adventure are possible, no matter the age.
I aim to provide both thorough and short sharp information that helps families plan road trips and holidays with young children. Helping you with itineraries, what to pack to help make things a little easier and some super fun things out there to explore. I’ve travelled solo with my daughter since she was 9 months old, with our first long haul trip when she was 21 months old to California. She’s now 7 and we have so much to share.
We’re based in London, England but love to visit the U.S. You’ll find tons of information on different U.S. roadtrips but also locations closer to home for us, including London, Dorset and Cornwall. I want families to not fear travel with kids, but embrace it and reap the rewards of creating the most amazing memories with your kids. Happy exploring.
